Dr. Julie Beth Zimmerman is the Donna L. Dubinsky Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering at Yale University, jointly appointed to the Chemical & Environmental Engineering Department of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She is the Associate Director for Research at the Yale Center for Green Chemistry & Green Engineering. Dr. Zimmerman previously served as an Engineer and program coordinator in the Office of Research and Development at the United States Environmental Protection Agency, where she managed sustainability research grants and created EPA's P3 (People, Prosperity, and the Planet) Award program. She received a joint Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in Environmental Engineering and Natural Resource Policy.
