Thaddeus is Herman Miller’s Chief Sustainability Engineer and life cycle assessment leader. Since 2007, Thaddeus has helped lead sustainable product design as part of Herman Miller’s Sustainability team and has participated in drafting numerous national and international sustainability standards including ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard, WRI GHG Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard, WRI GHG Scope 3 Standard, and the Product Category Rule Guidance. Thaddeus is passionate about creating safe and healthy products.

Thaddeus spent the first part of his career developing manufacturing processes for the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, and an MS in Holistic Nutrition.
